Please see below for our December menu. The restaurant is fully booked for Christmas day and New Year's Eve and will be closed from Boxing day until New Year's Eve.

Starters:
Butternut squash soup with a hint of rosemary
Goats cheese soufflé with confit of tomato and pesto dressing
Lyme Bay white crab and tarragon risotto with king prawn asparagus and crab bisque sauce
Smoked haddock and cheese galette with white wine, cream and tarragon sauce
Terrine of duck leg and breast with plum chutney and apple
 
Main course:
Fillet of sea bass and monkfish with chive potato cake, spaghetti of vegetables, asparagus and chive and beurre blanc
Breast of free-range chicken with wild mushroom risotto, leeks, asparagus and mushroom, sherry and cream sauce
Breast of Creedy Carver duck with confit of leg, dauphinoise potato, red cabbage and apple with caramelised kumquat orange and cointreau sauce
Medallion of outdoor reared Somerset pork in a herb crust with slow roasted belly of pork and black pudding on creamy leeks with dauphinoise potatoes and cider jus
Fillet steak with salardaise potato (mashed potato with thyme and bacon baked in the oven), green vegetables, bacon and truffle, mixed mushrooms and sherry jus
Wild mushroom feuilletée with green vegetables, wild mushroom, cream and sherry sauce
 
Desserts:
Vanilla panacotta with winter berry compote
Poached pear with mulled wine jelly and vanilla ice cream
Warm almond and apricot tart with amaretto mascarpone cream
Sticky toffee pudding with sticky toffee and rum sauce and clotted cream
Chocolate pot with chocolate ice cream
Sorbet/Ice creams: Trio of ice cream of the day
Selection of West Country cheeses served with biscuits and homemade chutney
